Here at the Artful Dodge we believe you should feel as good about
the item you are purchasing as we do about selling it. Every item is researched
and made to Authentic Standards, both in material and construction methods.
We are re-enactors ourselves and understand the dilemma of trying
to create an authentic impression without rupturing the household budget. While our prices may be higher than some “Skinner Row” Sutler’s, we are less expensive than many other Authentic
Makers, and our quality is far superior to those cheap “deals”.
Remember, it is false economy to buy something twice because you find out later
it is just not up to standards. Then of course there is the rewarding
feeling of knowing you are wearing the correct item. Even details that don’t
show are important because you know they are right.
If you are a new re-enactor don’t be afraid to ask us questions.
